Brand new from Hegel, the H95 is an integrated amplifier (Streamer, DAC, Preamp, Power Amp all built into one meticulously engineered and crafted chassis) that will blow you away! It will sounds terrific with virtually any loudspeaker out there. Tonally it is very neutral, with a dark background, it is extremely detailed and the sound stage is truly amazing. And the bass...Wow! The amount of texture and control this amp has over the speaker's woofers is astounding.
The H95 makes an improvement upon its extremely successful predecessor, the H90. Hegel once again brings great performance at an affordable price point. Boasting 60W of power per channel at 8 ohms, this amplifier will satisfy just about any listening room out there. Combine that with a whopping damping factor of >2000, this amp will drive even the most difficult to drive speakers out there. This unit also features an updated DAC section compared to its predecessor. It now uses the same DAC chip found in its more expensive siblings, the H120 and the H190. Sonically, it has an even lower noise floor, as well as improved detail retrieval.
