Using the same DSP (digital signal processing) generator found in the Planar 10 power supply the Neo MK2 is built upon a high stability crystal.
The DSP generator will divide the accurate signal from the crystal to the exact frequency required to turn the platter at the selected speed whilst producing a near perfect sinusoidal waveform to drive the 24v motor. Fine speed adjustment is made via the rear panel using the supplied custom Neo trim tool (supplied). The Neo MK2 features an advanced anti vibration circuit, fine motor speed adjustment and the convenience of electronic speed change. The Rega Neo MK2 PSU is compatible with the following Rega turntable models:
P3-24 / RP3 / Planar 3 2016-current / RP6 / P5 / P7 / RP40 special edition / RP8 Or any older Rega turntable fitted with our aftermarket 24v upgrade kit.
Planar 6 and Planar 8 turntable models which include the Neo will now ship with the MK2 Neo supplied as standard.
