I like that the hook feels stout. If you compare this to something much cheaper like Mustad 3261D Classic Cricket you will notice that this has a much thicker wire. The barb is a bit more pronounced than that Mustad as well.Anyway, this seems to want this squirrel hide on it. So that is how the first one is going to be used.I was very pleased with the quality of these hooks. I will get some in a different size in the future.
