JFET has a high input impedance and a rich and smooth sound like a tube. The S17 Pro Evo is not just a JFET. It is a TWIN JFET whose temperature rise is the same, whose power is the same and whose centre voltage is stable. It is the ideal input transistor for a headphone amplifier.

The power amplifier of the S17 Pro EVO works with two pairs of output transistors connected in parallel. The amplifier has a total of 16 output transistors. The maximum output power is 7.5 W. All types of headphones and IEMs can be operated without any problems.

The S17 Pro EVO was specially developed for two-stage adjustment of the Class A current:Each channel of the S17 Pro EVO has two pairs of transistors connected in parallel, so that the quiescent current per channel can be up to 100mA/200mA.The sound of a Class A amplifier is soft, warm and smooth.

Class A
The output transistors of a Class A amplifier are always conductive, regardless of whether an input signal is present or not, and have currents that correspond to the AC peak current. The maximum AC signals flow to the load.The no-load distortion is extremely low.It is therefore considered an ideal amplifier circuit. The sound of the Class A amplifier is rich and full of detail. As the transistors work very linearly, the Class A amplifier has hardly any distortion. The listening experience is excellent.
